The owner of MU acquired both Ronaldo and Haaland for only £ 64 million
Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland are blockbuster names in the transfer market but Manchester United can get them on the cheap.
Jadon Sancho put on a Manchester United shirt and posed for a picture to shake hands with coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. This club has also just announced the official signing of Raphael Varane. These two deals cost a total of £115 million.
Now, it is curious what Man Utd will continue to do in this transfer window after spending a significant amount of money. According to Express, MU's transfer plans indicate that they will pursue a long-term successor to Edinson Cavani in 2022.
Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund looks like the ideal choice. The striker is worth £64m in 12 months due to a widely-disclosed release clause and it is unlikely he will leave before that, unless Chelsea meet the £150m fee by 31st. 8.

The above British newspaper also claimed that the owners of Manchester United and the Glazers wanted to activate Haaland's contract release clause and recruit Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer transfer window of 2022.
Most likely, Ronaldo will not leave this transfer window to honor the contract with only 1 year remaining with Juventus. With the recent information on Ronaldo's future, there is reason to believe that MU can both sign Haaland and at the same time have an emotional reunion with Ronaldo for only a total of £ 64 million.
Haaland, the English-born Norwegian, scored 41 goals for Dortmund last season and has 86 goals in 86 games since the start of 2018. He also just turned 21. No wonder Every big club in Europe wants to sign Haaland.
